VYG Anthem!

1st of May, 1pm and youths from all over London began turning up at Finsbury Park for what was going to be a massive competition!
VYG from branches in North, South, East and West even outside London! Gathered together to compete for what you may ask? VYG ANTHEM...each branch had to come with an anthem which could be used to represent the VYG over the year! The best one would be the one to represent.
The place was BUZZING with the sound of bubbling youth joined together in God's presence, chanting against each other to show who was the best branch! An array of colours', blue, grey, green, black, white, purple, yellow and many others to represent each branch.
So everyone took their seats and began to watch the performances...I admit some were not too great, couldn't really understand what they were saying...but it was a great afternoon! Unlike any other!
As the competition closed the winners were announced...
3rd place - Peckham
2nd place - Hackney
1st place - Finsbury Park

Even though we did come second (injustice loool) it was a brilliant afternoon! I enjoyed every minute and plus i got to spend it with the people i love the most, my second family, VYG <3
