Tomorrow is the last day of 2011...but what are your goals for next year? are you just going in blindly a 'whatever happens happens' attitude for are you going in with a plan? a clear mind, a set path you want to go? You know the saying 'Fail to plan then you plan to fail' this applies to this also.
2012 is an OPPORTUNITY to leave everything behind, start again, do things you didnt think you would or do things you failed to do before with a different outlook. if you fail to plan for the year 2012 you will plan to fail for the year, get nothing done and when it comes to December you will be thinking again....what did i do with my year?
Dont set too many goals, and dont make them too out there, make it something you know you can achieve if you put in the work, and make as many goals as you know you can achieve and if necessary create more during the year. Maybe a goal will be to be more organised...clean your room every week, help more at home, get a job or study something new.
In this blog i wanted to share with you my personal Goals for 2012, and this way i kinda have to stick to it because im exposing myself lool.
To begin with ive been preparing myself for the new year, changing myself already so in the new year ill be a new person, this is the first step.
So now onto my Goals:
1. read the whole bible and record each day what i read and learnt here in my blog.
Yes this one will be hard, but if i follow my bible plan and dedicate myself to reading any meditating and noting down what i learn i know ill make it! and because ive said ill write everyday here what i learnt..now its expected of me lol!
2. Learn Portuguese...yes this may seem typical but learning a new language is extremely useful in many situations and can help alot in the work of God. i will update my progress on my blog.
3. Learn how to drive...yep its about time i did lol ! im 20 and i dont even have my provisional to learn...how bad. i will also update here my progress.
So there are my 3 goals for next year and i believe i can do it! i believe that i will make it, as for all of them i will update here what i am doing towards my goal and how it is going so far :) im looking forward to these challenges very much!

Love reading your blogs you and tillyah. There so interesting and benefical. I have been reading every single one. Im a person who doesnt like reading books (but i do no choice) but I absolutely have no problem sitting down reading these blogs daily lol. Its funny cause these blogs are like books with different pages, etc. Very inspiring & people reading can gain sum great ideas from these blogs. God is really working through what is being written in these blogs.
ReplyDeleteJo, everytime I read you blog it inspires me to do something. I an going to expose my goals as well on my blog. Sacrifice is one of the hardest things to do but it is the most beneficial.
