Matthew 5:27-48
alot stood out for me, so this is a must read chapter....but the MAIN thing i am going to share is this verse MANY of you must of heard several times!
'but let your 'yes' be 'yes' and your 'no' be 'no' for whatever is more then these is from the evil one'
So in everything...decisions of whether to buy something, if someone asks you to do something, in everything let your YES BE YES and NO BE NO dont be inbetween, especially in the decision of giving your life to God, remember God hates lukewarm people, He even said He will vomit those people out! So if in doubt about something, if your not 100% yes about it then say no or dont do it!
Genesis 16,17
The only thing that really stood out was when Sarai couldnt conceive so she told Abraham to go into her maid and he heeded her, meaning he listened, and went and done it. Then the maid conceived and Sarai got angry with Abraham...i mean hello?! you told him to do it lol....shows you emotions are dangerous and makes you make rash decisions. (sarai's name changed to sarah afterwards)
also chapter 17 shows that in covenants with God He promises but there are always conditions....
"10 This is My covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: Every male child among you shall be circumcised; 11 and you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between Me and you."
