It says in Matthew 24 : 3-7
"Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.All these are the beginning of sorrows."
Need I say more? Isn't that enough proof? People often criticise saying "do we really know who wrote the bible" and "it's just a book written by some man called Dave or whatever" oh really? do you think "Dave" could predict these happenings? I don't think "Dave" would have been smart enough or even know enough to predict this...only GOD!
Lets examine..."nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.." where is this happening right now? think...well it happened in Egypt, which coincidently is also written in....yes you guessed it THE BIBLE!
Isaiah 19 : 2-4
“I will set Egyptians against Egyptians; Everyone will fight against his brother, And everyone against his neighbour, City against city, kingdom against kingdom.
"The spirit of Egypt will fail in its midst;
I will destroy their counsel,
And they will consult the idols and the charmers,
The mediums and the sorcerers.
And the Egyptians I will give
Into the hand of a cruel master,
And a fierce king will rule over them,
Says the Lord, the Lord of hosts."
Hmm, funny isn't it, all that was foretold is happening, and it's not just Egypt that was at war with their own people, but look at Libya, and its getting WORSE!
And finally, "And there will be famines, pestilences, and EARTHQUAKES in various places"
Think as to how many earthquakes, natural disasters and famine there has been over the last year..not even year! 6 months! It seems that every month or few months there's something else happening, another earthquake, another tsunami, another war or civil war.
There's only so much that can happen before you actually start believing, how long are you going to turn a blind eye and think everything is going to be alright? until its happening to you?! Until you realise he's back already? NO IT WILL BE TOO LATE THEN. Come on wake up! this is no longer something we can ignore its happening too often! These things have to come to pass, they are the signs of the beginning of sorrows. These things do need to happen, for people to wake up and realise before its too late.
A final note so this isn't too long...THE BIBLE fact or fiction? well after this message what do you think? I know my answer...but surely this all isn't just a coincidence, the Bible that was written 100's of years ago says the same thing as the one of today, before all this happened..so surely The Bible speaks the truth, and surely years from now (if he hasn't come back by then) other things prophesied in the Bible will come to pass. Don't Wait until it's too late..He could come back any time and it will be game over for you...Are we living in the days of the end? The last days? The end of age?
