Good Morning,
Sorry i have not done a post in a few days, ive just been so busy and had no time to go onto my computer.
Today I would just share something I read in the bible recently.
Romans 5 : 1- 5.
"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and persevereance, character; and character hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the holy spirit who was given to us."
I think these verses are very strong and they really stood out to me..as you see in bold this is the part I most concentrated on, we shouldn't only glorify God when we are being blessed, but when we are facing hard times, why? because of the exact reason as above, when we go through hard times we turn to God for help, and for those that want to serve God they will continue through the hards times PRODUCING PERSEVERANCE. Going through tribulations teaches you, shows you and helps you to persevere. Through perseverance, overcoming tribulations, this can mould you even without you knowing, this can change the way you are without you even thinking about it.
I can relate this with myself because recently I went through a hard period in my faith so many tribulations but I kept going, this wasn't the issue though, the issue was always in the back of my mind saying that my character hasn't changed that I need to change and the more I thought about the fact I had so much to change, I felt down, it was like i was putting myself down. Reading this though has made me realise, that all this time through all the problems God was changing me little by little, every day without me even paying attention to it he's changing me, everyday I cried out for him to help me change to mould me into a woman of God to glorify him, and I didnt see change it just got worse i thought "God hasn't heard me" "why isn't he answering me" when all along he was! Every minute every situation he was changing me and answering my prayers. Then change of character gives hope, shows you that God is working in your life and is helping you continue.
It's amazing what God can reveal if you let HIM speak for a change, you can pray all you like, but if you do not allow God to speak to you then you will not get answers or even see results.
