Tools in Gods hands...

Us servants of God are the tools he uses to do his work, he uses us to do what he wants to do as he cannot do it himself, just like the devil but that isn't the point of this post.

The point is we are tools...and all tools have different uses for example....you cant use a hammer to screw in a nail because that is what a screwdriver is for.
Compare this to the work of God...not EVERYONE is going to be called to be assistants, pastors, pastors wife, bishops etc...what would be the point? That would mean EVERYONE would be doing practically the same thing and would be pointless...why? Because members, assistants, pastors, bishops etc all have a different role to play in the work of God, all are used as tools to do different things.
God will not call everyone to do the same thing...you may be an assistant but you will be used as a tool to do something else for example look after kids zone and to help the children while the are young, the next generation of pastors etc. Some may be used as a great tool in evangelism, while others a great tool in advising and teaching those young in the faith, while others to oversee the whole church. God uses us in different ways based on where he thinks we can make a big difference, in where we will be used in a strong way...even if at first you think you can't do it God knows that once you learn you will make a great impact. Some will get used to spread the word and faith through writing, or singing or dancing. He will use your talents...so look at yourself and your talents and ask God to use you more in that area....or even just as a tool in anyway. Even if your being used in a small way God is still using you because in that small way God still believes you can make a huge difference. If everyone was used to do the same thing, I doubt the work of God would really go anywhere because everyone would be used to do the same thing...for example to clean the church...yh the church would be clean but what about the other areas of the work of God that need attention and there is no one to be used to do it...if you catch my drift...so the message? Whatever you are used as a tool...take it as an opportunity and do it in full power with a joyful heart..for God chose to use YOU for a reason...he didnt just randomly pick you, but he hand chose you to be used in that certain way.
