Matthew chapter 6:19-34
This part of the chapter speaks about many many things...the eye being the lamp of your body, you cannot serve two masters, do not worry about tomorrow, what you will eat, drink etc.
Read it its very good :)
but the biggest and most important thing most people forget is 'seek FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you'
even as Assistants...we can forget this powerful verse, so lets try and put this into practice for 2012!! to seek first His kingdom and then see everything else be added onto us :)
Genesis 22, the thing that really spoke to me was when Abraham went to sacrifice Issac as a burnt offering, he didnt question God he obeyed, although he must of been feeling so much pain and grief, but did he not obey and go and do? sometimes we need to do this, when God says we do without question! some of us like to question too much thinking we know better.
I am going to change up these posts, instead of writing about EVERYTHING i read, ill just talk about the bits that stood out because i have more on my plate and its not practical for me to do that ill just get more behind. God bless
