Self denial, something im trying to do....not self denial in the form of denying myself for God (i do that anyway) but for others. In the work of God you serve the people, members etc. the self denial im talking about is to the people.
Deny my will for them....for example, if im doing something and someone asks me to do something for them ill stop what what im doing and do that, do whatever is asked of me instead of what i want to do no matter the urgency of what i need to do. Denying my things, to do things for others, isnt this to serve the people? This is sacrifice which we should live daily.
Being positive..another thing im trying to incorporate into my life...smiling, being more positive and complaining less. No matter how stressed i am, no matter the situation, be positive and smile!
Respect...show value and respect to EVERYONE don't just be humble and submissive (theres a specific word im thinking of but i forgot it) to those in a higher authority then you, but to those with the same or less, to everyone in short. If we serve the people...shouldnt they get the same treatment as you do to someone in higher authority? e.g. if they ask you do to something do it, reply to them politely, tend to their needs, show them love and care... if not they should get it more! remember the higher you go up, the lower you go/the more people you serve. they should get the same respect and attention, even if it means sacrificing our time, our will to do something for them.
